Just then a train roared by with horns ablaring and I simply pointed to the train tracks that needed to be lowered and end the division of our community. His response was that no one from the city had ever pursued lowering the tracks in his time on the board. Yes, our man Tony was on the council at the time. This city has been useless in fixing or even trying to solve the division of our community. Yes, the costs are in the stratosphere now. Somehow Solana Beach was not deterred. Somehow Carlsbad is still pursuing lowering their tracks. Somehow Del Mar may luck out thanks to Mother Nature endlessly eroding the cliffs and move the tracks inland.

That's all. He shouldn't do anything else. No editorializing, no comments of any kind on the candidate's answer, no repeatedly saying "fair enough," which is a weird, out-of-context judgment, nothing. Just ask the questions, listen to the answers and move on.

Delete7:10pm Thank you. Everyone else I asked this question had no idea. Michael Murray is new to me. Does anyone know his history about his involvement in our city other than NOW Leucadia? While I try to appreciate everyone who cares enough to spend their time making our community better in their own ways, it is also good to know where people come from and I don't mean a previous location. More like where one's sympathies lie on which side of the political spectrum.

He made a mistake by having Margo, Mali and Walsh on his podcast, that is, if he posted that podcast after all the severe criticism he got for suggesting it.
DeleteThe basis of the criticism was that Wyer should have only candidates on his podcast so close to an election. He shouldn't host community activists whose intention is the sway voters.
The merits of choosing margo, and mali and garvin the pompous one to interview at this moment in the election, is not doing your reputation any good and rightly so. You lost points of respect in an instant by that boneheaded move and it is a shame. You had been doing such a fine job until then. That interview should have been buried until after the election, if you had been paying attention to what they have been doing for quite some time, you might have given more thought to releasing anything from this bunch of operatives now.
