Desperate to hurt Cremona’s chances, Thunder, with Walsh's help, recruited her best friend’s husband, Jeff Morris to also run for mayor.
This perfect storm allowed Tony Kranz to waltz through another campaign season without so much as lifting a campaign sign, winning him the mayors seat with 47% of the vote. In the process, dividing the community further as residents watched Jeff Morris’s family publicly implode, ultimately resulting in their selling their home and leaving the state.
Let’s all remember Garvin Walsh’s unscrupulous behavior in our local elections. He may be MAGA, but he certainly does not live up to any party principles. Let’s continue to keep him irrelevant in our politics and in the light of the damage he gleefully caused, exposed in the forefront of our collective memories.

The letter wasn't sent and won't be sent on behalf of the council unless approved. Even if you're not familiar with procedure any idiot would notice the letter is dated 2/14, the date of the meeting.
Also interesting that Susan is in regular contact with Bruce discussing council business behind the scenes. Closed door discussions? Back room deals? Are these communications using the council email we can access using PRAs? Why is Ehlers discussing and strategizing what he's going to with select members of the public outside and ahead of the meeting? Will he disclose these back room meetings when he pulls the item? ReplyDeleteDenver, CO - after spending more than $42 million on illegal foreigners’ hotels & support services, Denver has decided to cut public services for Colorado citizens to continue forking out millions to cover the costs of the illegal foreigners living in Denver.
“Some Denver Motor Vehicle offices will close for a week at a time, recreation centers will reduce their hours and the parks department will slash spring recreational programming by 25% to help offset the fast-rising costs of sheltering migrants in the city.”
Four of the city’s five DMV offices will close for a week at a time on a rotating basis. The main administrative branch, at 2855 Tremont Place, will maintain its regular hours.
Motor vehicle offices will no longer process vehicle registration renewals in person. That process must be completed by mail, online or via kiosks. Kiosk locations can be found at denvergov.org/motorvehicle.
Starting on Feb. 20, regional rec centers will be open only six days per week. Local and neighborhood rec centers that already operate six days a week will have reduced hours. Updated hours are expected to be posted online next week.
The city is pausing acceptance and processing of permits for public events, special occasions and tournaments until “further into the budgeting process,” according to a news release issued later Friday. Permits for historic events and those submitted before Feb. 4 will not be impacted.
Parks and Recreation executive director Jolon Clark said his department was still working out which spring programs would not be offered this year. The department pushed back the start of the registration period from Feb. 27 to March 5 to provide more time for those decisions.
