They have noted the political blunders of Blakespear, her attempts to silence her critics and her "unrealistic" business plans as reasons for her lack of suitability for the State Senate. These propensities will only get worse if she advances to a higher office. As a Democrat, I will vote for Joe Kerr for the 38th District's State Senate office.

Keep in mind that the UT has supported her many times in the past and that they are supporting a candidate who is outside of her home turf. Looks like the Mayor took another hit today as the attorney who called her out for violation of First Amendment didn't like her non-apology. I would post it here but it is too long. Jeremy Blakespear did call Steve Meiche an asshole in one of the comments.
Blakespear and her camp are desperately trying to bail her out of her sinking ship - her pathetic civic record is the anchor around her neck.
