Did you see what happen to BIAspear's plan that calls for three half-cent sales tax increases by 2028, as well as so-called road charges on drivers of 4 cent/ mile road charge so they can open more alignments of empty polluting human mowing machines and make everyone take buses?

The SANDAG proposal is the wrong plan for San Diego County. It shorts our freeways, dumps money into mass transit that few use, wants to fund a high speed rail from the border to Oceanside but our existing tracks force the trains that use them to slow to 30 mph or less in spots. Why should we pay for a high speed rail that pokes along?
Then there is SANDAG's history of bait and switch, where they move money to cover overruns and do not complete projects that were promised, all without telling the voting public. Lastly there is the ever changing list of project they "Promise" to fund.
SANDAG you fooled us once, you have no credibility and what you want to do is not what San Diego needs.
If their ballot measure get to November, I'm voting NO.
Blakespear is and has been a disaster for our community and beyond. Her opponent needs to ask her about the SANDAG credit card scandal and ask if she was one of the credit card holders. If so, will she reveal her expenditure records for the period in question? Not likely, as it appears that she has something to hide, given her avoidance to address the issue.

The pool is a net zero water user thanks to conservation efforts we're funding in the surrounding golf course and community. That's a lot of writing to not actually say anything. Our DSRT Surf project in Palm Desert had no opposition at Planning Commission and City Council hearings, and received unanimous approvals.
