  1. Seriously these people just hatched and waking up to the Blakespear legacy, continued today by all but Ehlers, is grimly satisfying.

    2. So much worse than that. The word salad is like listening to Charlie Browns teacher. Hinze is exactly the same. These people are terribly unqualified for the position but elections matter bro! SuperPacs matter bro! City Manager parroted something about questioning the way and waste of how tax dollars are spent is a political attack. Left wing dingbattery at it's finest. She definitely gets her marching orders from Margo.

    4. 9:36- It's Item 8G in the Consent Calendar. Not exactly sure how far into the meeting it is, but should be easy to find. Kranz also interrupts Ehlers and starts too get angry with Bruce. Really worth watching.

    5. 9:42- Thank you. On it. News at 7am.

First 20 min. Celebrating Mexicans who like Many Americans are european mix.... maybe we should celebrate Canadian independence and Philippine independence. And Tony's favorite Russia and China's day of Communist revolution.

Geeze- How prejudice. To judge someone based on their ancestry and color of their skin. It will be nice once we can over the victim mentally and take ownership of ones future like so many liberty loving Americans do. No need to mention anything but ones accomplishments.

I suggest Tony hold separate meetings where he gets to hog the microphone for a huge amount life wasting boring Dunce ramblings.

City Manager was (is) in full insubordination and WRONG.

Watch 8 G in its entirety and you will see how Fuck up Tony's mismanagement of the agenda is and how incapable the City Manager really is. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect. She is a 2 at best.

1). Pam needs to be fire. She should not incorrectly reprimand and try and quiet the City Council Members. She will be luck if she is not sued for damages.

This meeting shows that Starvin' better get going try to get his gal re-elected because the natives are beyond restless. They are starting light torches and deservingly so.

This is a most watch for public comments and item 8G.

Tony spends 20 minutes a feel good long presentation and then shuts down public speakers left and right. Major law suites pending! Watch public comments starting here.

Talk about Pointing out how fucked up Encinitas has become under THE DUNCE's watch.

1st Speaker clearly explains Major wrong done from City and future lawsuit regarding Tony's Parking Lot on Vulcan Avenue.

    Questions:

    1. When was Tony's parking lot presented to the community and where is the CEQA review?

    2. 2nd Speaker another mayor City wrong on given drainage privilage given to developer and flooded existing neighbor. Mayor lawsuit no. 2.

  14. Steve wyer or Steve P should do a story on the Kranz parking lot gift issue to the adjacent developer apartments landlords that’s now blowing up.

When was that parking lot approved by the city Council and did it go through proper CEQA?

Was there any public meetings on the project?

What’s the status of the rail trail through that alignment?

What was promised to the adjacent landowners?

What kind of money was spent building that impervious parking lot and what were the impacts to the drainage area?

    Who approve the work?

  21. This city needs an old fashioned external A.U.D.I.T.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Joy - "We need to move when we have the funds". Thus we must do streetscape prior to fixing drainage. This means double streetscape? Ehler's point, we should fix the drainage first. This was interpreted as "political". SPICY

Nobody mentioned how recent drainage problems on 101 are due to the recent "road repaving".

Parking realignment started yesterday on Vulcan. Now there is even less room for bikes. The door zone is now closer also.

All bikes will now commence sharowwing immediately.

Good way to improve vehicle/bike relations...

    ReplyDelete

    1. I stopped riding my bike after getting hit. Trying to make the roads do everything means they do nothing well. Our streets are like a leather man multi tool. They can do it all but suck at everything.

    2. They'll do the same, adding sharrows, on North Saxony which will be heavily impacted by all of the new density projects, including Clark, coming on line. How many dead cyclists will it take for the city to fire Abe (he's the worst engineer in the history of engineers and he's ours 😒) and go back to more pragmatic safety engineering?

  23. Unanimous votes were a goal of Blakespear’s so she could pretend to the public that all was copacetic on the surface all the while she was strong arming in the back rooms. It’s an indication of an unhealthily unbalanced council and not something to boast about.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ehlers votes with the woke majority pretty much every time. He's obviously in the pocket of BIAspear and the developers that own our council. In the last meeting he even reiterated his support for StreetScam! 😑

5-0 voting is NOT democracy! RECALL EHLERS!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ehlers was great. Streetscape is good. It just needs to be done right.

The City Manager, Pam Antil, needs to get fired for stoping city Council deliberation on a very important city project.

    2. There's nothing wrong with stopping a single councilmember from trying to rehash issues that have been addressed over and over already.

    3. 1:09- so tell us when was the discussion about how the storm drain installation?

I don’t recall ever seeing a reading about that. From my understanding, it was the first time that the public or even Councilmembers had been presented the information was in the staff report.

      Please elaborate.

      Delete
    4. If it was the first time being discussed in an open City Council meeting, then the city managers comments were completely inappropriate, and she should be fired.

      Pam Antil should be fired.

  32. I just watched the You Tube video on EV of last nights fiasco where the city manager is telling Bruce Ehlers to leave her people alone and Kranz is going along with it. Pretty disgraceful. She really should be fired and hopefully someone will run against Kranz and win. Only this Council, Ehlers excepted, would put the horse before the cart. Bunch of idiots if you ask me. The only reason this was even discussed, as it was a Consent Item, is because someone pulled it from Consent and made it an Action Item. Now we have to pay attention to Consent Items as well. Another trick Blakespear used to do, although she was never quite as brazen as Kranz was the other night. Anyone who knows Krantz's history knows he has anger management issues. And these issues do not make a good Mayor or Council member for that matter. You can also watch it on the City Website, Item 8G.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Agreed. Encinitas has become the laughingstock of California. The beach city with beautiful beaches and the biggest fucked up city government in the world.

If you want to see how to do something wrong- look at Encinitas. They put hazards in the streets and call them improvement.

They get sued, people die, emergencies declared, and lose tens of millions of dollars and then do the same exact thing and put bicyclist it harm instead of improving conditions.

Everybody has warned them about the pending death coming from the door zone on Highway 101 and several locations. What do the politicians do? nothing

    what does staff do? nothin.

They are waiting for the death. they’re waiting for the blood-and they’re waiting for the lawsuit.

What does city manager Pam Antil did was complete insubordination and she should be fired immediately by Kranz. At minimum she should be sued.

If you want to complete shit show of a city, either hire Pam Antill or Karen Brust.

Encinitas has a way of her in the worst of the worst. I think it’s the selection process.

    MONTHLY FEES

That is a huge gift of funds for an area that supposed to host a nice rail trail similar to what is in Cardiff. It’s a Community had a nice rail trail, kids could walk to school safely instead of having to get driven. TONG again acts against kids health.

And Tony, rather give gifts to his friends and friends off coastal access. He is the anti-safe streets.

Tony is bad for Encinitas, TONY is in a hot for constructing the parking lot with public funds without CEQA or public process. now, Tony’s gonna have to answer questions about his gift of public funds to the adjacent property owners.

Tony may want to ask his mentor Dan Dalager for a referral for an attorney….

After serving his sentencing, maybe he can get a job with Dan at Goodwill?

Don’t worry about space needs. If it gets too crowded you can just camp out in the front along the street because Tony made that legal. She will also bring your free clean needles.

At least 300 people were expected to arrive in the county Thursday, according to Pedro Rios, the San Diego program director of the American Friends Service Committee. He said it is likely that most are seeking asylum in the U.S.

The majority of the migrants arriving were previously being held between the two layers of the border wall. In previous months, migrants reported being required to wait there for several days with minimal food, shelter and water.

  41. Wahoo!! Finally affordable housing in Encinitas. Come one and come all. No need for cars, but bring your bikes!

Here is the future of Encinitas with the brilliance of The Dunce at work:

Six-story building with 180 apartments approved for downtown Encinitas.

The Sunsets development at the northwest corner of 3rd and D Street will have shops, a plaza and other activities on the ground floor. The upper floors will have 50 one-bedroom apartments as small as 375 square feet, which is about the size of a two-car garage, and 130 two-bedroom units up to 750 square feet.

The overwhelming redeeming value is that it will include 18 apartments designated for “affordable housing” and only available to households with incomes below the area’s mean, Phony said.

We are so lucky to have Phony. No one except maybe SPP, can destroy a town as fast as our very own Town Dunce.

Another awesome public speaker at the next city Council meeting should ask the city Council to place the Tony Kranz’s parking lot on the next council agenda and cover the history, the objectives of the parking lot, the public input, and seek or process, and future plans. What is the plan for that area besides gifting to the adjacent developers and apartment property owners?

There’s no reason why this project should’ve been kept from the public. The paving of that parking lot with impervious material made the drainage runoff increased tremendously from the prior pervious area. That unpermitted parking lot created much worse flooding problems for the Coast Highway 101 area that they were talking about last council meeting meeting requiring a 60 inch pipe.

How come everything Tony put his fingers on turns to shit?

Because it’s illegal to gift public lands and capital funding to the adjacent developers and apartment property owners. This is the whole issue.

Kranz will never take ownership. He is a victim for life.

  48. Residents who give of their time and speak up are our heroes.

Scott as always speaks plain for the slow leaders on the dais.

Who was the brunette? She would also make a great council member next year.

We need more of these caring residents on the council.

New majority, repeat, new majority, repeat.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah, Scott is good for stepping up.

There was so many intelligent logical people who spoke on behalf of the city. Scitt could learn a little something about presentation from them.

Well done. That was one of the best meetings I’ve seen. So many scraps from staff and the Clown Council. All recorded for our enjoyment through the years. 🀩

The Tony Kranz parking lot issue is such a huge blowup that all of the other gems that were aired haven’t even had a chance to get discussed yet. And there are many.

This parking lot fiasco is just too good! Steve P have fun with this one!!

When these jerks at these flying schools put my clients in danger with circling and go arounds, my job is to make stop. And I do. Trust me, these schools don't look good when Homeland Security shows up. Those are folks, HS, you don't mess with.

let’s all vow- No more Dunces on the City Council. πŸ™

    4. Starts well before the election. Too many candidates, including the psycho spoiler, whisper campaigns and other council candidates waving false flags and nasty attack campaigns which resulted in the dunce and Joy being elected. Bruce was a good enough candidate to win his but not by a majority. Expect the next races to be diluted again. Or sabotaged. With players like πŸ·πŸ‘§ and Starvin willing to serve lazy campaigners like the Dunce, we should not expect better or different outcomes.

Locally, we have Mayor, D1, and D2 on the ballot next year.

Blackwell? Will she run? Does she want it?

Hinze? Preggers again? Kid(s) or Politics? She needs to reflect.

Mayor? Two people can run against the incumbent with good fallback positions.

Starvin and πŸ·πŸ‘§ are no longer returning my calls. Okay, have to stop typing now as my shoulder is hurting because the water here is so cold.
