I have to hand it to some of our dedicated residents who continue to call bs on our sold out council members at every council meeting. You give me hope that someday, hopefully next Fall, that we will have true representation on the dais.
ReplyDeleteThis should be easier than it is, but only if more of the public would give a sheet and act up and join a concerted effort for a new majority.
Scott and Natalie you are the leaders we need. Joy, Hinze, and Allison, not so much, tony included.

If you really want to get things done, do the hard work. Immerse yourself in a specific subject. Work quietly and humbly behind the scenes to marshal support and align key players. Ask yourself not just what the right message is, but who council members will listen to. Work on the people council members will listen to, and get them to whisper in the ears of council members.
Expect to spend a year or more to develop a strategy, build relationships, and execute a quiet influence campaign on a single subject.
Focus on where your interests align with various players, and develop a messaging strategy that focuses on those areas of alignment. If you can move a player from active resistance to mild resistance, that’s progress.
Squawking and arm-flapping for attention for three minutes will get you nowhere.

Delete5 :00 sounds like you missed the equity committee meetings that’s OK you can watch the replays and have a listen. Search for comments on next-door. Do the same on the defunct Encinitas now page.. Another Kathleen showed screenshots of Mali’s vitriol the same night kranz called Mali “a wonderful person” after he saw the evidence. Same night the equity committee presented how little they had accomplished in a year. Go back and watch that council meeting whenever that was, the city clerk can provide the date and link.

At the same, the US just invited 7 million homeless refugees to feed off of our social security network.
If the goal is to reduce homeless in the United States, open borders is not going to do it. Especially when you have huge social security welfare handouts. That’s like feeding fresh birdseed to pigeons. Notice I didn’t refer to rats.
If the goal is to increase world population and kill off all the other animals while destroying the previous America quality of life, and the actions make perfect sense.
Current actions are killing America, killing California and killing Encinitas. You decide.
