Oops! Kranz says the quiet part out loud

From the Inbox:
In this clip from Wednesday's council meeting Kranz voices his concern that the majority choice, Joy Lyndes, lives too close to the D3 map border and may get redistricted out of her seat next year when the districts are redrawn. Getting over excited while pushing for his Hubbard replacement, Brett Farrow, he slips and not only indicates that the map was drawn to screw Muir, but admits that the entire council - not just Tasha - collaborated on the district maps so that "every council member wasn't competing against one another." Brown Act violation, anyone?

  1. Blakespear's expression - priceless!!!

Lil' Kellie suddenly comes to life and appears to be listening. Taking notes on deception and what to do, but not say? Does she even know what's happening here?

  2. Does anyone think it was a secret that the districts were drawn so that the sitting council at that time wouldn't have to compete against each other? Everyone knew it at the time, and don't forget, Tony voted against the map along with Mark.

  6. Kranz can never keep his stories straight. This is what happens when you're busy bending rules and doing favors. Hard to remember what you told, to which person.

  7. anyone heard a peep out of the perps? maybe cramo wants to come on here and tell us how his queen's participation in the illegal map creation promotes equity? compassion?

  8. As kids die from Isolation and the road die from neglect, our City Council focuses on inviting all the homeless and government housing to Encintas.

Not only that, but instead of fixing our pot holed filled roads, we are doubling the population and crowds in Encinitas and spending $11 million on Pacific View.

    Is this what we want?

  9. First off, these parents who are so upset that they have to parent and blame teachers are the real trolls.

Anyone who has chosen to devote their lives to educating our youth deserve better treatment. If any of these winers had a clue about the commitment every teacher has made and given back to our and their kids, would should more respect.

Blaming everyone else but themselves for their lack of parenting during such extraordinary times should not be blamed on teachers or the school board.

If these winers want to truly help, they would do everything they could to see that teachers are protected in every way possible, along with helping the schools reconfigure classrooms to be all that they could and should be while we attempt to find our way through such unique times.

As for the maskless imbeciles, show us their faces. This community deserves to know who they are.

In such unknown times where any chosen course is a guess, right wingers have no shame.

History will tell the tale, and it damn sure won't be the dems behavior that will be called into question.

Pissing in the wind again, but some of you deserve to called out every time.

Look unto yourselves. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, what do you see? Can you see beyond your kool-aid influenced misinformation?

    Have at it.

    Repeatedly.

  10. Whoa is 8:57pm the Pres.... did Biden post on this blog?

It sure sounds like the rambling of someone well into alzheimer's.

God be with you 8:47pm and hopefully you do not follow the fate of our uncared for children. Om

  12. 10:36pm. Your own mental degradation is apparent, if that is all you are able to fathom.

How's all that Kool Aid drinking been workin for you?

Trying to justify attacking our teachers is no excuse.

How about directly helping to make our public funded schools safer so they can reopen in as safe as possible manner?

Vaccinate every school personnel. Add air filter systems in every classroom.

Private schools have their own funding.

Public schools are hurting and need all of our help, especially after Betsy Devoss' last four years of private school funding taking away from public schools needs.

We have some light at the end of the tunnel, but that can be extinguished in no time by ignoring the obvious behaviors that have brought us all to this point.

We all have to realize the current situation will remain with us for years, hopefully less.

Masking is here and will be for the foreseeable future, even with most being vaccinated.

That 'most' is relative, since we have to deal anti-vaxxers stupidity.

Thanks 10:36pm for the well wishes, sort of. My reliance is based upon science and not alternative facts.

Your apparent dementia should be looked into by a professional before you post here.

  13. 1:34 - OMG - The uneducated rambling returns. Its so painful to read it could only be one person - L-word. Who the hell brought up masks Lword?

Glad to see you are still alive but its sad to see you write off the youth.

The rest of us see the reality. The youth took the brunt on this one with major increased suicides, huge mental health crisis at hand and a year of lost life.

This is the worst tragedy against kids that I am aware. Has there ever been such a focused actions for so long against our youth?

    Two things for certain -

    1. SDUHSD could care less about kids. They are focused on more union dues and less work for teachers.

    2. Newsom - Lets just recall Newsom. Failure on way too many levels. - https://recallgavin2020.com/

Thanks to those of you that take action and care about kids.

I for one love the youth in this nation. They are bright shining stars amongst not so "bright shining stars" :)

  14. OMG 7:41pm. As usual you couldn't be more wrong. Actually, you could be and often are.

Guess who can't resist picking on a woman who doesn't post here and has not for years?

Any supposed reality you see is compromised by your drinking the Kool Aid of ignorance. Add in your obvious lack of parenting has put a strain on your cognizant abilities.

Losing your daily baby sitters must put a cramp in your lifestyle.

Our teachers care more about yours and our kids welfare than you ever could.

Uneducated relates much more to you. Your opinion of teachers motives are especially suspect and so far off base, it is a wonder how you will survive.

  15. Vaccinate, then safely educate. Simple enough. Support our teachers in a meaningful way.

Parent, in the verb sense, is new to far too many, as is obvious by some of the covidiots attacking and blaming our teachers.

  16. Has anyone seen the nextdoor discussion on gonzalez defending his kid? Something about throwing rocks at passing cyclists?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Guy was jogging on Stonesteps stairs. One kid threw something at him and he grabbed the kid and made him cry, so the adult is being trashed. Reality: if you throw ANY thing at someone you are asking for trouble, no matter what age. Marco apparently thinks this is behavior to be tolerated by pre teen boys with no consequences.

    1. Anger issues may be passed down. I read the thread and saw the usual threat from Gonzalez toward a poster "resolution of this issue could get very expensive." That's where you go when you have no defense, but what's new there?

    2. thanks 12:42. gonzalez edited several of his comments on ND so we can imagine he went too far.

    3. Not that it's all that relevant to this thread, but here's what actually happened:

My son and a group of his friends (12 and 13 year olds) were at Stone Steps looking at the surf when a guy in his late 40's jogging down the stairs got in their face and yelled at them for not wearing their masks. When he was a couple of flights down, one of the boys (not my son) threw a piece of candy and hit the guy in the back of the head.

As the jogger turned around and started running back up the stairs after the boys, they fled. When he reached the top of the stairs, he grabbed the boy in the back of the pack (not the boy who had thrown the piece of candy), and yanked him off of his bike and basically smacked him around and accosted him until some bystanders stepped in and pulled him off the kid.

I private messaged the guy who posted on ND to get his side of the story, as he had pitched it very one-sided compared to what we had gleaned from the kids. He admitted both to grabbing the only kid he could, that he knew it wasn't the one who had thrown something at him, and that he knew it was a small piece of candy (like a skittle) and not a rock.

My point to him, and in my comments, is that as an adult, I don't care how enraged you are at some kid's behavior, it doesn't give you the right to lay hands on someone else's kid, particularly when he wasn't the culprit and the man wasn't acting in any manner of self defense.

My son's friend had bruises from the incident, and was a wreck emotionally. His parents would be justified in bringing legal action against this guy, and that's something he should think about before knocking around a 12-yr old.

In no way would I condone the action of my son's friend, but the point of my comments were that the man's response wasn't defensible, even on the facts as he told me personally on the phone.

And again, why are you all so afraid to put your names on your comments on this blog?

    4. "A wreck emotionally?" Back in the day this would have been called a cheap lesson.

Maybe people are afraid of SOP comments like this one "resolution of this issue could get very expensive."

  18. Marco are you encouraging the parents to press charges?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, but I encouraged the jogger not to put his hands on kids if he doesn't want to get sued.

  19. I read on the thread that the cops were called. So speaking of pressing charges, will the jogger make a claim against them?

And btw not buying the "Skittle" bit. And no masks? Where'd they learn that?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Marco spot on here.

    Nuance is critical.

The kid should not have thrown the marshmellow or even a nerf football or whatever but the man in question reaction was so overwrought AFTER he hassled the kids about masks (dumb idea) one could logically and reasonably conclude this guy has some real emotional/personal issues that led to him 1st verbally and 2nd physically assaulting a minor.

Charges could teach him a lesson for sure.

Marco is being very reasonable and thoughtful here.

    Kudos

    1. LOL I like the way the "candy" goes to a marshmallow.

You need to take a closer look in the mirror or at your pal. The bloviating and constant legal threats are too well known. He will never get away with playing the "reasonable" role. Too many nasty outbursts made too publicly for too many years to get away with that. Ship sailed.

  21. Marco is writing like he was a witness to the events. He wasn't. He seems to be taking the words of boys entering puberty as truthful, when this a notoriously untruthful age group. The throwing of a piece of candy is simply not believable. It's Marco's technique to make threats to opponents to intimidate them . Ask anyone who has had to deal with him.

    1. Too true. Ask anyone who's simply been a bystander.

    2. As any parent of a 12yr old boy, I'm naturally skeptic when shit goes down. That's why I spoke with the guy directly. Only after he confirmed the facts did I inform him that accosting a kid could get him in much bigger trouble in the long run. The facts are not in dispute at this point, and objective witnesses support the kids' story.
