Apparently, an investigative political reporter discovered that residents had complained about the mess while the city of Encinitas fire dept claimed she had not violated any codes. Now, are we going to find out what went wrong? Did the city fire code manager give blacksmith the benni of the doubt, or do we need stronger code?
