You all need to be focusing on how to change the city Council not Jeff Morris. You made that mistake during this last election and you’re still not learning. If you put as much energy into that you all might actually make some positive changes in Encinitas.

Try to understand basic election dynamics. Incumbents have a distinct advantage in name recognition, resources and the word "City council" by their entry in the election booklet. When you have 2 or more people run against an incumbent who espouse similar philosophies BUT spend most of their time fighting over petty differences, you split the vote and you lose. Morris was basically unelectable due to his behavior, and Cindy had to play hide and seek based on her past comments online. So you get Tony....Election's over. Move on. Maybe figure it out next time, or not....
Your premise is correct. Morris was loud and lied about everything as did his wife, continuously. Cremona wasn’t hiding but got drowned out by Morris and his constant need for negative attention. Tony did nothing and sailed in with name recognition.
Until we have election reform this is the way our elections will go.

Well finally something good from Stan. This is good. I can tell you this, If Stan leads the legal real effort to recall Kranz he has my vote for the next Mayor election.
53% of the voters (a solid majority) voted against our town dunce in the last election. Anyone including Stan,or better yet the mutt from IE ,would be an improvement for Mayor of Encinitas.

For the purpose of recall of local officers, the term "clerk" refers to the appropriate elections official for the jurisdiction in which the recall is being sought, in particular: 1. The county elections official (the County Clerk or Registrar of Voters) in the case of the recall of elective officers of a county, school district, county board of education, community college district, or resident voting district, and judges of trial courts. 2. The city clerk in the case of the recall of elective officers of a city; or 3. The secretary of the governing board in case of the recall of elective officers of a landowner voting district or any district in which, at a regular election, candidates’ nomination papers are filed with the secretary of the governing board. (Elections Code §§ 307, 311, 11002) "Governing Board" includes a city council, the board of supervisors of a county, the board of trustees of a school district or community college district, or the legislative body of a special district. You all need to be focusing on how to change the city Council not Jeff Morris. You made that mistake during this last election and you’re still not learning. If you put as much energy into that you all might actually make some positive changes in Encinitas.

Try to understand basic election dynamics. Incumbents have a distinct advantage in name recognition, resources and the word "City council" by their entry in the election booklet. When you have 2 or more people run against an incumbent who espouse similar philosophies BUT spend most of their time fighting over petty differences, you split the vote and you lose. Morris was basically unelectable due to his behavior, and Cindy had to play hide and seek based on her past comments online. So you get Tony....Election's over. Move on. Maybe figure it out next time, or not....

And at least Phony doesn’t have a bunch of Crazy Cremona wicked old hags spewing untrue vitriol about him like Cindy’s group does to Jeff and Julie. Cindy was sneaky enough on her own, so didn’t need encouragement from the towns wacko wenches.

Well finally something good from Stan. This is good. I can tell you this, If Stan leads the legal real effort to recall Kranz he has my vote for the next Mayor election.
53% of the voters (a solid majority) voted against our town dunce in the last election. Anyone including Stan,or better yet the mutt from IE ,would be an improvement for Mayor of Encinitas.

Cindy handled Bhvanni by screaming at her like a spoiled immature little girl who is used to getting her way, whereas Jeff is having a dialogue with Bhvanni. He could’ve deleted her, which is what Lorri does on EV when someone doesn’t suck up to her. Instead, Jeff is stating his reasons why he disagrees with Bhvanni.
