Any low inventory is due to deep pocketed money men and their operators buying up everything in sight with the purpose to raise real estate prices locally.

He is far from alone of course, with hedge fund vultures leading the way to keep tightening the noose around the market forces at work. I suppose a genuine recession might mitigate the damage these vampires are doing, but their deep pockets can withstand any slow down for as long as it lasts.
The kind of money that is coming to Encinitas from San Francisco, L.A and Orange County, blows my mind.

Went by and looked at that huge City Of Encinitas mistake on Lake Drive. Holy shit is that is gonna cost the taxpayers tens of millions.
ReplyDeleteThat my friends is what you call, not taken care of your drainage infrastructure. So they’re rebuilding the giant hole with a short piece of storm drain that’s going to tie into the existing metal pipe that’s been in the ground for over 40 years that runs all the way to the lagoon.
So what’s the cost estimate for repairing that failed storm drain all the way to the lagoon and who’s gonna pay for all of that sediment removal that washed into that open space ravine, and the lagoon?
Wow. Talk about millions and millions all because of an agency’s inability to maintain its infrastructure. Someone should be responsible for this? Heads.?
Then drive up Leucadia Boulevard at Garden view Drive where the new massive apartments are going in across the street from the golf course. Check out those huge steel drain pipes that are sitting on the ground, waiting to be put into the corrosive earth. Shouldn’t those big steel pipes be Concrete or or something non-corrosive?
Geeze- The City of Encinitas seems to cause it’s own problems by allowing developers to put in shit infrastructure in place and then the taxpayers pay for the mistakes 40 years later of sooner. what a complete shit show.
