RIP Herb Patterson
Your July Hoodlink brings sad news. Herb Patterson, an early and tireless advocate for community character and government accountability in Encinitas, has died.
Yes, he was a man of insight and integrity who cared about our entire community. Our City is a better place by virtue of his civic engagement and his activism.
We are all here on this earth for a short period of time. At least you did something positive during your stay. I hope to see you on the flip side and see how Encinitas looks in 50 years. Now go enjoy a cosmic sun burst or something.
He was in a league of his own. We will all miss him so much!
